Why is it morning already? I need about another three hours sleep and I'd be great. Ah well. Snotty children wait for no woman, so alas, I am at work.
Had a lovely weekend. Saturday, I had off, due to Yom Kippur, and having a Jewish boss. Worked out in our favor, as we headed out to Cracker Barrel for breakfast, and then to the Amish Market to pick up things for the coven Mabon celebration. While we were there, we stopped at the meat counter and picked up apple sausage, and maple turkey bacon (both of which are all natural, so Jess can eat them.) While I was looking at the counter, my eyes lit on one of their specials...Prime Rib roast for $7.59 a pound. I got that too and we headed home.
Had an awesome time with the coven, as usual.
alysonwonderlan had a lovely ritual prepared for us, and there was much tasty food and of course, much cuddling of the official coven baby(tm).
Sunday, Jess had a headache, so we skipped seeing Resident Evil, and took it easy. I cooked an awesome prime rib dinner, and managed to splash hot grease for a scattershot of 2nd degree burns on my inner forearm. Fortunately, it's not a big area, and it's actually not that painful. Unfortunately, it looks like I have a bizarre rash.
Last night, was ( Heroes )

I was tempted to do a phone post and let y'all hear my whispery, squeaky voice, thanks to the cold, but I don't know that I'm loud enough for the phone to pick up. Probably not.
Okay, so in fangirl squee levels, how much do I love one Jeffrey Dean Morgan after reading this interview?
Especially the bit about Bisou, omg!
"She's a little crackbaby; she's a rottweiler mix. She's the same as when I got her on the Venice Beach boardwalk nine years ago. She must have been four or five days old, the runt of the litter, and these guys had her in a box and she probably wouldn't have made it through the day. She got her name because she couldn't open her eyes yet so she would literally kiss her way around and I had to bottle-feed her for a month. And here she is now--she's a city dog. She loves it. She prances up and down the street like nobody's business.
Bottle fed her for a month! *flaily hands* So much love!
